OUR CANCELLATION POLICY:

We require a non refundable deposit of 20% to hold reservations for 30 days, upon which, you need to have made up the 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due upon arrival, but if you prefer to pay by check ( instead of credit card) we need to receive a check at least 30 days prior to arrival.

Our cancellation policy is thus: The initial 20% is non refundable ( unless for some reason we could not provide the villa --hurricanes etc. then we would refund it). The rest is refundable if you cancel more than 30 days prior to your reservation. If you cancel within the last 30 days prior to your reservation 50% is not refundable. ( The rest would be, if you were to have paid in advance).

We also require a damage deposit. If you use a credit card you must agree to cover any undue damage or loss on your card. If you pay by check then we ask you for a check for $500. which we would only deposit in the case of undue damage. Otherwise ( which has, so far, always been the case) we just send you back your un deposited check, after a careful inspection by us.

Our contract basically states that no illegal activity can be done in the villa ( drugs etc.) and that you understand that the pool is a deep one and that you are responsible to take care of your children around the pool area, an adult ( who can swim) must be with them at all times.

Comments about staying at Loma del Sol

I think Loma del Sol is a lovely place to celebrate any event! It does have 4 bedrooms ( 5 if you count an outside day room) but a couple would be just as happy here as anywhere else. The pool is a large, deep pool with panoramic views and a nice jacuzzi next to the pool, under a pavilion. Loma del Sol offers a considerable amount of privacy, it is at the top of a 16 acre 'finca'.

The pool and terraces are surrounded by exotic flowers, palms, and of course the panoramic views.

Loma del Sols' kitchen is complete with pots, pans everything you would need to cook with. The maid comes every day at an hour of your choosing, you can always arrange for her to wash your personal laundry, you should tip her extra for that. The caterers are getting very expensive, not practical for only a few people, there are many fun restaurants in the nearby area. You do need to rent a car to stay here. There are several caterers who will deliver dinners for parties of 6 or more.

There are group tours available from nearby Fajardo or it is easy to arrange a private guide for the day. Sailing, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking in the nearby rainforest and bicycling are all easily available too; however, it is so relaxing at Loma Sol, you may not wish to leave your hammock! Except to swim in the pool!

In the evening you can relax and look at all the twinkling lights in the towns down below, right from the jacuzzi or watch the sun go down from the front terrace.

One nice thing about Loma del Sol is its' proximity to San Juan. Nightlife and casinos are about 45 minutes away, should that interest you. On the other hand you, are completely in the country and near several of Puerto Rico's beautiful beaches, The beaches of Luquillo are most often used by our guests.
