Lomasol Villa Activities

Hacienda Villa Lomasol is a special retreat for nature lovers, adventurers and people who love to relax. Lomasol is a Spanish Colonial style open house. It's unique design includes three "al fresco" bathrooms, which let's you experience nature very closely. Refrigerator, washer, dryer, hot water showers, air conditioned bedrooms, antique furniture, pool, open terrace with amazing views, and everything you expect from a Caribbean Hacienda.

This semi-tropical rainforest is part of the U.S. Forest Service and offers unique opportunities and easy access to experience a rainforest. There are many well maintained and well marked trails to explore on your own, or with an interpretive guide. You can jump into a waterfall and pool or hike to the top, above the clouds! There is more than one entrance to the rainforest, although the north entrance ( road #191) is easiest and reaches the more developed areas.

The bioluminescent lagoons of Puerto Rico offer a magical night time experience either by 'sit on top' kayak or small boat. The Fajardo biobay is the closest. You will need advance reservations and you can only enter with a guided tour.

Campgrounds at the Balneario are lovely but only safe if there's a small crowd. This is an easy day trip from San Juan, or you can combine it with a trip to the El Yunque rainforest

Choose your Luquillo Kiosk

First impressions upon entering Bohio de Luquillo are of an upscale eatery, not a “kiosko” in Luquillo. It has warm colors and nice furnishing which proved to be comfortable as well, and a generally warm and welcoming ambiance.
